Academics at STRIVE Prep – Federal

STRIVE Prep – Federal middle school offers courses in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, where students receive a grade-level instruction through a rigorous curriculum coupled with individualized instruction to match their individual learning needs. All students have an extended Math class (75 minutes instead of 50). Students explore real-world phenomena through an application-based Science course and engage in rich collaboration with peers and critical thinking activities in a project-based World Studies course. Students learn to use and own their own voice in Speech & Debate class. Students receive interventions for their specific individualized needs throughout the day, whether that be English Language Development, Basic Reading Skills, or Advancement.
