Academics at STRIVE Prep – Lake
At Strive Prep – Lake, students will experience engaging and rigorous academic lessons in core content classes and enrichment classes. Beyond Math, Science, World studies, and English, every student also takes a Speech and Debate class. This unique course offering aims to develop students’ abilities to present and defend their ideas verbally. We also develop critical math, reading, and language skills in our additional intervention classes that prepare students to access grade level and beyond course work. We seek to develop the whole student by enrolling all students in our IMPACT classes focusing on Social Emotional Learning and academic organization skills. When students leave STRIVE Prep-Lake, they will be prepared for the challenge of high school by utilizing a skill set that will allow them to excel.
